Things To Keep In Mind When Installing Shade Sail Posts

Installation of shade sails requires stable support. Sometimes sturdy support is not available at the site of installation. In such cases post needs to be set up. But setting up of posts should be done in the right manner, keeping number of things in mind. This will not only help in efficient execution of work but also reduce the chance of any accident.

Is the ground hard enough?

You need to ensure that the ground where you want to put the post is not too soft. For softer clay the depth of the hole should be more.

The hole should be at least 3 feet deep by 2 feet wide

For a standard post of 15 feet length the hole should be atleast3 feet deep and 2 feet wide- the more, the better. In Aliso Viejo shade sail installers also attach a metal piece to the base of the post so that post is tightly held by the concrete mixture.

Filling concrete mixture

When you are filling concrete mixture in the hole, shovelit with a rod so that no air pocket remains. In Aliso Viejo or Bakersfield shade sail installers are seasoned at doing the task. You may hire them, if you find it too difficult to do it yourself.
